THE END! – 21 DAYS TO #FEELIT with Virgin Active

21 days later and he has the body of a greek god!

Ok not quite but I’m going in the right direction! 21 days has gone so quickly but I have literally LOVED every minute of it and can 100% say that 21 days is more than enough time to form a healthy sustainable habit!

Never before have I ever wanted to go to the gym as much as I do now, it’s no longer a chore as I enjoy it and the buzz you get after a session is addictive.

This I must say is down to Dean who was my PT during the 3 weeks, every session teaching me something new and motivating me to push myself is what made me fall in love with the gym.

As I said in my first post, I have been recording my stats every week to keep track of my progress which I think I’m going to continue doing going forward.

The Beginning

  • Weight: 15st 4lb / 97.5kg
  • Height: 5’11”
  • BMI: 30.1
  • Body Fat: 26.7%
  • Body Fat Mass: 26.0kg

After Week 1 –

  • Weight: 14st 12lb / 94.6kg
  • Height: 5’11”
  • BMI: 29.9
  • Body Fat: 26.7%
  • Body Fat Mass: 24.4kg

After Week 2 –

  • Weight: 14st 11lb / 93.9kg
  • Height: 5’11”
  • BMI: 29.6
  • Body Fat: 26.7%
  • Body Fat Mass: 24.4kg

After Week 3 –

  • Weight: 14st 11lb / 93.9kg
  • Height: 5’11”
  • BMI: 29.6
  • Body Fat: 26.6%
  • Body Fat Mass: 24.4kg

The End –

  • Weight: I have lost a total of 7lbs which is HALF A STONE!
  • Height: 5’11”
  • BMI: down by 0.5
  • Body Fat: down by 0.1%
  • Body Fat Mass: down by 1.6kg

As you can see from my stats, I have lost a grand total of 7lbs! Which I’m super happy with! Normally when dieting I’m extremely strict but as I have been training literally every day I have found myself eating more so the weight loss is a massive surprise! I’m also super happy my BMI & fat % is going down as that’s what worried me at the beginning of the 21 days.

A lot of people have said to me are you stopping after 21 days . . . HELL NO! I’ve come this far, I’m enjoying it and I’m nowhere near my goal yet so I will continue as I have done for the past 21 days.

The knowledge and tips I have learnt from  Dean at Virgin Active Brighton will enable me to carry on enjoying my workouts, and fingers crossed down the line I will be at my goal weight and will turn my attention to toning up.

A massive thank you to Virgin Active and OneFifty (especially Ed) for letting me be part of this campaign, and to all of my fellow #feelit bloggers especially John (for putting up with question after question) & Brogan (for general support and LOLs) but most importantly Dean at Virgin Active Brighton and all of you lovely people reading this now! The support from fellow bloggers and readers has been absolutely AWESOME! Thank you!
