Thomas Sabo x TH Baker | #EngraveYourLove

Last week myself and a few other local Brighton bloggers were invited to the TH Baker & Thomas Sabo Christmas Wishlist Event to promote their new #EngraveYourLove personalised engraving service. Francesca the Thomas Sabo Digital Manager for the UK & Ireland invited us and was there at the event so was it was great to be shown some of the new pieces for AW 2016 and to speak to her about Thomas Sabo the brand . . along with general chit chat!

In the past I have only ever brought gifts for people from Thomas Sabo but never actually owned anything myself, which is madness as I’m obsessed with Mesh Steel Strap watches, and as you may be able to see on Francesca’s wrist she has such a nice Thomas Sabo Mesh Steel Strap watch! I think it’s the “Rebel Spirit” from the men’s range she is wearing which is only £180! Bargain!

We were kindly given a bracelet in which we had engraved on the night! So above you can see me and Francesca going through the engraving options for my bracelet, you have over 50 options to choose from! Initials, star signs, paw prints there is literally something for everyone and its so quick! You can see the engraving machine in active above which literally only took seconds.

I went for the classic initial and star sign, so in my case that’s a C and my star sign is Cancer, I had 3 options of font to choose from and went for ‘Romantic’ which funnily enough was the most manly one lol and have the sterling silver circle “Love Bridge” pendant but you can get other designs and colours (heart shape, gold, rose gold etc.) I think this falls into the ladies category but I think it can be beefed up depending what you wear it with e.g. a watch or some other Thomas Sabo mens bracelets which I have my eye on!

The food at the event was catered by The Secret Restaurant which was incredibly tasty! The Secret Restaurant cover Sussex, Surrey, London and the South East. They offer private catering, dinner parties, corporate hospitality, events, weddings and functions.

The canapés on offer included – Pastrami on Rye with Pimento Cheese & CornichonCumberland Sausage & Mustard MashFennel & Sea Salt Scones with Smoked Trout & Peppery Cream Cheese and Parmesan & Rosemary Shortbread with English Goat Cheese & Peppadew Salsa. It’s safe to say I tried them all . . . multiple times and they tasted divine, the Cumberland Sausage & Mustard Mash was my fave, and im going to attempt something like it at home!

The staff on the night were incredibly friendly so if you fall into the areas covered and are looking for a catering service for your event, definitely get it touch with Nicola Whistle | 07986541894.

You may have seen my Gin Festival post a few days ago, where I speak about trying Brighton Gin for the first time. . . and oh look at that, here it is again! The mixologist throughout the night kept myself and guests hydrated with a variety of champagne, cocktails and mocktails for those sensible people driving! I think it was a ploy to get everyone drunk so they would buy things . . . it seemed to working as the store was very busy!

A big thank you to Francesa from Thomas Sabo and also to the guys at TH Baker in Brighton who were so welcoming and accommodating. They put on a great evening for us and the customers who all looked to be enjoying themselves! I have always loved TH Baker as they stock higher end pieces compared to some of the other jewellers in the area. I now know where Thomas Sabo is stocked so will be back!

Also thanks to my fellow Sussex bloggers Tania, Holly & Katie for another great evening!
