I purchased these Shoes from Next online a few months ago and have got to say they are my favourite purchase of 2016 so far! I have worn them so much!
Every year I purchase a few pairs of boats and loafers as I find they are great for the summer months, so it was a no brainer to purchase these! They are so versatile, and can be dressed up and down which is what I was looking for.
I wore these to lunch at The Ivy in London which has a smart/casual dress code so dressed them up with cropped trousers and a shirt. And have also worn them with shorts and a T as a casual outfit.
For £120 you expect comfort, and that’s exactly what they give. They are super comfortable and feature a calfskin trim with rawhide laces and are hand stitched.
The colour I went for was New Snuff/Polo Tan which I thought was a great summer colour, and would go with basically any colour short or trouser. They also come in Newport Navy which I really like and also Dark Brown. I’m definitely contemplating getting the Navy as I think I will get a lot of wear out of them.
Click here to purchase directly from Next Online! If you like the look of these but don’t want to pay £120 for a pair of shoes, then I have found a few dupes below for you to check out!
Next | Leather Boat Shoes | £45 – These look very similar and use some of the same fabrics. You can’t go wrong with Next, the quality is always great and Next offer such great value for money.
ASOS | Faux Leather Boat Shoes | £28 – These are faux leather, and have no suede effect but for £28 they are a bargain! I probably have about 5 pairs of Driving Shoes from ASOS and they really stand the test of time and the quality and comfort is always good.
River Island | Suede Boat Shoes | £45 – These are suede so very similar to the Ralph Lauren Biennia’s but they feature contrast sticking and a white sole which I don’t personally like, but they again are great value.
