Festival Playlist x New Look

Over the past few years Festival Fashion has become MASSIVE! It’s such a great excuse to dress that little bit more quirky than you normally would which I think is a great way of trying out new styles. I have teamed up with New Look to bring you my favourite Festival Outfit and also a playlist of my favourite acts from this years festivals!

The Outfit

I knew I didn’t want to play it safe, so pulled together a few items I wouldn’t usually go for! 1 being this Dark Grey Lace Up Side T-Shirt . . . something I would never think about wearing, but for festival season it’s perfect!

Coachella vibes all the way! And paired with these Black Panelled Drop Crotch Jersey Shorts I think it screams festival, I kind of wish all my shorts and trousers were drop crotch as they are super comfy, which is important when going to a festival!

No festival outfit is complete without a jacket and accessories! If you are attending a festival in the UK its most likely going to RAIN! Which is why I picked this Khaki Zip Sleeve Bomber Jacket in an XXL as I though it would look great oversized which it does!

And accessories wise I went for the Grey Unknown Embroidered Cap (which is actually now on SALE!) Black Round Sunglasses if the sun dare to come out and to finish the look, a Silver Marble Charm Pendant Necklace which if a first for me as I’ve never worn ‘Fashion Jewellery’ before.

So there we have it! My simple festival outfit with a few statement pieces. Come rain or shine New Look have me covered in every way! Also I may now have a cap obsession! After shooting these photos the cap stayed on during the whole day! Perfect way to hide your hair on a bad hair day!

Don’t forget to check out my playlist below, with some of my favourite artists from this years uk festivals!

The Playlist

  • Dua Lipa // Literally since seeing her LIVE at BBC Radio One’s Big Weekend in May I have been a little obsessed . . . her self titled album Dua Lipa was released in June and my favourite tracks are Be The One, New Rules, No Goodbyes & IDGAF. She also smashed her set at Glastonbury pulling in records crowds!
  • Imagine Dragons // Again someone else I saw at Big Weekend, Imagine Dragons performance of Thunder was incredible! I had heard the song before but didn’t actually know who the band were? But I’m so glad I do now! BIG FAN!
  • Biffy Clyro // Many of Horror is an absolute tune, I got the chance to see them perform this life at Big Weekend and they also headlined Download this year!
  • Rag’n’Bone Man // I have been a big fan of this man since his debut album Human dropped in February and was so happy he was playing the Where It Begins stage! Human & Skin were my favourites from his set! Plus he’s from East Sussex like me so got to support my own!
  • Sean Paul // This man is doing the rounds this year for UK festivals! He was at Big Weekend and was honest one of the highlights of my weekend! Growing up in the noughties Sean Paul was massive during my time at High School so it was basically like re living my youth! Like Glue & Gimmie The Light are bangers!

I have actually created the above into an actual playlist on Spotify!
