I don’t really know where to begin? WABI IS MY NEW FAVOURITE PLACE! Why did it take me so long to visit! I’ve known about Wabi for a while now, as its owned by the same people who own Bohemia in Brighton which is my to go place for Breakfast!
In the heart of Horsham a historical town in West Sussex you will find Wabi. A striking Japanese inspired 2AA Rosette restaurant and cocktail lounge featuring a water garden for dining during the summer months.
As soon as we entered and were greeted by Sean who was our waiter throughout our visit, it literally felt like we had entered a door in Horsham and ended up in Japan! Narnia but with sushi!
It just so happened to be a Sunday when we visited so the Japanese Buffet was on which was £19pp (SUCH A BARGAIN can I just add) also under 12’s eat for free with a paying adult. The Buffet consists of a wide range of Sushi dishes, noodles, rice, stews and much more PLUS you get to pick 1 main course from the selected A La Carte which I think is such great value for money as the variety is vast.
Also for you Prosecco lovers! For £10 you can get a bottomless glass (well 2 hours of drinking, and I’m sure you can fit your moneys worth in!)
As you can see the food looks delicious and I can 100% confirm it tasted even better than it looks! I especially loved the Gyoza’s and the stew as its something I’ve never had before with a Japanese twist. Also the Kimchi mayonnaise was like heaven in your mouth . . . If I had a container I would have taken some home with me!
As I was driving I went for the sensible option of a non-alcoholic cocktail, £4.75 and super refreshing –
Dynamite – Strawberries, Raspberries, Lime, Cranberry
Apple & Jasminé Mojito –Mint, Lime, Apple, Jasmine Tea
Both these drinks were so tasty! Plus whats even better is that 10% from all alcohol free cocktails goes towards the Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity.
As you can see, I cannot fault Wabi in any way! The service we received and the quality of food was absolutely outstanding! For sure whenever I’m next in Horsham I shall be visiting Wabi again, I’d love to checkout the normally menu to see whats on offer!
Have you been to Wabi? What’s your favourite dish?
