Christmas SourcedBox 2016

I signed up to SourcedBox around 4 months ago and every time a new box comes through my letter box I always say “I’m going to blog it” but I always end up eating it straight away and never DO! Well not this time! Today I bring you a sneak peek inside the December “Christmas” SourcedBox.

I have waited until hopefully everyone has had theirs so I don’t spoil the surprise for anyone! But if you have a One Off box for Christmas then look away now as I don’t want to spoil the surprise!

What is SourcedBox?

SourcedBox is a healthy snacking subscription service created in 2015 by co-founders and YouTube sensations Niomi Smart & Marcus Butler. SourcedBox focus on providing snacks made from natural ingredients, so no refined sugars, artificial flavorings, preservatives, additives or chemicals which are sent direct to your door every month.

I am a big fan of Niomi Smart and her healthy eating ethos (I absolutely love her book EAT SMART) which I use to cook up some healthy tasty treats . . .when I have time that is. And she’s from Sussex like me so we have to support our own! At the bottom of this post see how you can win a copy of EAT SMART!

So December’s SourcedBox has a festive feel to it! Even the box has a little Christmas sleeve which looks just as good as the snacks inside! This months box has 10 snacks! So I’m going to talk about my absolute favourites which is super hard AS I LOVE them all.

I had to include SourcedBoxes very own Christmas Spice Chocolate bar! It’s the first and im sure not the last SourcedBox own creation! 66% Raw Chocolate with Zesty Orange Oil, Raisins & a Christmas Spice Mix! So just think of how happy Christmas makes you and imagine it as a chocolate bar! DELICIOUS!

Next up is the Goji & Coconut Balls by The Protein Ball Co. which were the first thing I ate! I love any kind of energy ball and these were the best I’ve had by far! The hint of cacao powder in them gives them a great sweet taste but still very healthy. This type of snack is great to have between meals due to its slow release of energy!

Also the Raw Gingerbread Cookies by The Beginnings! Gluten Free, Sugar Free & Preservative Free! And taste SO good! You can’t get much more festive than ginger so it’s no surprise this features in the Christmas box! I’m a big fan of ginger bread and these cookies have been made with ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, honey & cocoa so you can imagine how nice they taste!

Next up the BEMINDFUEL Chia Pudding which is essentially a pudding in a mug! So easy to make, just empty the sachet into a mug, then 70ml of hot or cold water into the mug, stir and wait 5 minutes! Taste super naughty but again its organic, plant-based, dairy/wheat free with no refined sugars or preservatives.

And last but not least is the Coconut & Cocoa Chi Dairy Free Chocolate Milk! I’m really fussy when it comes down to milk and milkshakes but I really liked this! I’m not a fan of coconut milk on its own as I think it tastes slimy but this combo is perfect for me! I had it on the rocks so super ice-cold!

So there we have it! My top 5 products from this months SourcedBox! Please let me know if you like this type of post and I will try to make it a monthly thing! And if you are a subscriber to SourcedBox what was your favourite snack this month?

Also before you go! I am currently running a giveaway to win a copy of Niomi Smart’s cook book EAT SMART! Which I also have and LOVE! So for your chance to win simply RT my pinned tweet on twitter and make sure you are following me! GOOD LUCK!
