Rehearsal for Murder – Theatre Review

Sensational Twist! Absolutely Stellar Cast!Modish Male

Award winning writers Richard Levinson & William Link, the creators of the legendary mystery series Murder She Wrote and Bill Kenwright LTD bring you Rehearsal for Murder! A classic ‘whodunnit’ murder mystery currently touring the UK.

I saw the show at Brighton’s Theatre Royal, which is home to Rehearsal for Murder until Saturday 16th July, to book tickets for Brighton Click Here, or for other locations Click Here.

Alex Ferns best known for playing Trevor in BBC One’s EastEnders portrays the character of Alex Dennison a playwright who’s finance Monica Wells played by Footballers Wives star Susie Amy is found dead outside her flat, after a flop opening night of Alex’s new play in which Monica is the leading lady.

Watch how Alex on the 1 year anniversary of his lover’s death tries to get to the bottom of her apparent suicide, assembling the same cast from the failed play to undercover the truth.

The same set is used throughout the show, but the rooms are cleverly separated by trickery of the lights. Your essentially  watching a play rehearsal.

The play also features Holby City’s Lauren Drummond as Karen Daniels an aspiring young actress and understudy to Monica Wells as well as Emmerdale heart-throb Gary Mavers, Pop Idol Mark Wynter and “Carry On” star Anita Harris.

Full of twists and turns, this production will keep you guessing the whole way through, if you try to make a prediction as to who did it I guarantee you will be WRONG!

Let me know what you thought if you have seen this production, I loved it!
