Christmas Wrapping & Gift Guide 2018

This is my first Christmas in my flat, so I wanted to go BIG! Massive tree, all my family round mine for Christmas dinner plus some amazing wrapping to match the aesthetics of my sitting room!

This blog post is very late considering most people have probably already shopped for Christmas gifts, which are wrapped under your tree! But for those still running around like a headless chicken trying to get sorted, then this is for you!

So I got my paper from Cox & Cox this year, I got the Reversible Gold & Star Wrapping Paper and Marble Wrapping Paper at £12.50 a roll, they aren’t the cheapest however each role in 10M so you get a lot!

Instead of name tags this year, I wanted my gifts to look that much more EXTRA! So I purchased gold pendants with an initial on for that particular person (these were so cheap from eBay) and look great!

Ribbon I also purchased from eBay, which goes great with the 2 papers I have! Great quality item at such a good price!

I then got some Christmas charms and bells to add to the ribbons when packaging the gifts up, again from eBay so inexpensive and I feel really finish it off!

I absolutely LOVE giving presents, I am one of those people who get super excited watching someone open a gift you have got them!

So as always, I am going to show you some of the gifts I have purchased my friends/family this year! The ones I remembered to photograph before wrapping (wrapped so many then realised I hadn’t taken pics!)

Personalised Passport Cover – The Online Edit
My little brother goes travelling in January so thought this was a perfect gift for him! Also supporting a local small business! The Online Edit is a new online store run by Hannah a friend of mine who is based in Brighton! Great quality items, great customer service and great packaging! “Everything Looks Better When It’s Personalised” – Hannah

Haig Club Clubman Whisky You cannot go wrong with a bottle of Whisky for your dad! My dad loves a good Whisky and that’s exactly what the clubman by Haig Club is! Perfect on the rocks or in a nicely crafted cocktail!

Timothy Stone – Norse Silver Tone Watch
My dad is a bit like me and has a watch fetish! So I got him this mesh steel watch by Timothy Stone! I have a similar one by Skagen and really like the mesh design!

Aladdin The Musical!
I got my mum tickets for Aladdin the Musical in London . . . also one for me 🙂
We haven’t seen it yet and I have heard really good things! Especially about the genie! Have you seen it before?

For the Kids!
My best friends have a 5-year-old, and my cousin had a baby in June so I buy for 2 kids now! It’s always tricky when buying for kids, as they change what they like so regularly but I think I picked some solid items this year! Every little girls loves unicorns, so I got this plush unicorn which sings and dances from Asda! I got the PJ Masks bath set from Tesco, and Nursery Dining Set and Tea Set from Cath Kidston (Cath Kids).

Stocking Fillers!
My best friends got married in June, and they have just had their bathroom redecorated so I got them both a towel each (Mr & Mrs) from Next! Also got my mum this little pouch with a D on from Next which I thought could be used on holiday by the beach etc. and while at Wakehurst Place last week I picked up this Mulled Wine kit!

So there we have a selection of the gifts I will be giving to my friends and family on Christmas Day, along with this years wrapping theme!

Hope you enjoyed this post! I love being noisy and seeing what people get for people or got for Christmas!

This will probably be my last post of 2018, so have a great Christmas & New Year!

Charlie 🙂
