My Kiehl’s Skincare Routine

Skincare routines are one of my favourite things to read about! I love to know what people are using so thought I would do my own and show you what I use on a day-to-day basis.

Growing up and to this day I have always had really bad skin, very acne prone and blemished all the time! Over the years I have seen many dermatologists and have tried all different types of creams and tablets but nothing has worked for me.

I made the decision to stop taking tablets and creams a few years ago, as they were making my skin really dry and painful and I personally think they made it 10 times worse. I ended up having to use creams on my face due to the effects the tablets had on me! And as a teenager growing up very conscious of the way I looked, that was not a good thing.

So over the years I have been trying to perfect the ideal skincare routine for my skin, and at the moment I think I have it pretty good! I am going to be focusing on the items I use by Kiehl’s which are one of my favourite skincare brands.

Kiehl’s Blue Astringent Herbal Lotion | I use the Kiehl’s Astringent Herbal Lotion as an all over facial toner as its great for oily prone skin. Its one of Kiehl’s most iconic products having been formulated in 1964! You can purchase directly from Kiehl’s here from £16.50 – £26.50 (depending on size)

Kiehl’s Blue Herbal Moisturizer | I use the Blue Herbal range as its great for acne and blemished skin which I have. It’s a lightweight formula and is oil free which again is something I look for in a face product. This particular moisturizer has salicylic acid which helps to unclog pores and prevent blemishes from forming. You can purchase directly from Kiehl’s here for £26.50.

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado | Charlie Irons from ManAboutTown recommended me this a few months ago! The concentrated formula enriched with avocado is perfect for the delicate eye area and has been dermatologically tested. FYI although it has extracts of avocado. . . it really doesn’t taste like avocado! Me being me tasted it which I would NOT advise! You can purchase directly from Kiehl’s here from £20.00 – £33.50 (depending on size)

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye | As the name would suggest, this is a night-time eye cream which gives you younger looking eyes and reduces the signs of fine lines and wrinkles. I always look tired because of my eyes so this helps me to look a little more awake! You can purchase directly from Kiehl’s here for £25.50.

Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 | This is very similar to the Jo Malone lip conditioner but a lot cheaper! This is the unscented lip balm, but you can get scented ones for the same price. I use this more and more in the cold months so perfect for the weather we are experiencing now! Features vitamins A & E! You can purchase directly from Kiehl’s here for £9.50.

If your unsure what skin type you have or need some guidance re what is best for your skin then drop into your local Kiehl’s where they can check hydration levels of your skin and suggest some products which will benefit your skin. I think im going to try the facial fuel next, as I have heard good things from fellow bloggers.

Do you use Kiehl’s products? Let me know in the comments what you use.
